Pregnancy Yoga has always been at the heart of The Soul Space.
Since 2016, hundreds of Mums-to-be have joined this community through this class and have come back again with 2nd, 3rd and even 4th babies.Pregnancy Yoga is so much more than physical preparation for birth - it is space to connect with your amazing body and this transformational time in your life - the journey of Matressence.
We practice breathing techniques and poses that can be used during Pregnancy and labour and this is a lovely, friendly class with time to meet, chat and share experiences with other Mums.

IMPORTANT information!
Please check availability for classes you'd like to attend and book your place asap. Only buy passes for the classes you have a definite space in. You are able to put your name on the waitlist without buying a pass - places ALWAYS come up. If a space comes up, you will need to purchase a pass to attend.
Pregnancy Yoga passes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Once you are 37 weeks or more, if you don't have a space, pop me a message at 9am on the day of the class and if I have room I will save the 10th mat for you – then you can purchase a pass on the day.
If you have any questions, please ask.
What happens at the classes?
I keep the classes small so there is time to chat and connect. Each week we cover a different topic such as bonding with baby or preparing for the big day. We also cover things like breathing techniques for labour and positions for labour too. The yoga postures are all suitable for pregnancy and will be adapted as per your trimester, and focus on building strength and stamina and keeping you flexible and fit.
When is it best to start?
I would recommend that you wait until you are at least 12 weeks pregnant before beginning any pre-natal yoga classes. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions or have had any serious problems during pregnancy, please run this past your GP before starting the class and let me know. Please don't worry if you have never done yoga before, most of the mums to be are trying it for the first time!
What do I need to bring?
All mats, blankets and equipment are provided (but if you prefer to bring your own mat or blanket/pillow you are welcome to) so just bring yourself, a bottle of water and some lose comfortable clothes for your yoga practice.
What happens if I miss a class?
You will book yourself in for the classes you’d like to attend. You can cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the class start time, cancellations after this time will use a credit.
If you have any questions about bookings, missing classes or anything else please give me a call.
