MOTHER BLESSING

  A Mother’s Blessing Ceremony is a beautiful and heartfelt gathering designed to honour, support, and celebrate a mother-to-be as she prepares for birth and motherhood. Unlike a traditional baby shower, which focuses on the baby, this ceremony is all about surrounding the mama with love, encouragement, and blessings.

What Happens at a Mother’s Blessing Ceremony?

The mother-to-be gathers with close female friends and family members. The purpose of the ceremony is to envelop her with support, love, and positive energy as she prepares for childbirth and the journey into matresence.

Some Meaningful Activities Include:

• Sharing words of encouragement and well-wishes, either spoken or written, for both mama and baby.
• Passing a ball of cord around the circle and tying it around each woman’s wrist as a symbol of connection. Everyone keeps the cord on until the baby arrives, reminding them to hold her in their thoughts.
• Writing letters of encouragement, to help her feel supported in her journey.
• Creating a sacred altar space with special items from guests, offering the mother a place to feel nurtured and      empowered during pregnancy and beyond.
• Guests signing up for a meal train to help nourish the family in those early postpartum weeks.
• Ending the ceremony with a shared tea, cakes and nourishing snacks.
• If you’d like a longer ceremony, we can include a Sound Bath for all the guest to enjoy.

On the big day, I’ll create a warm and loving space, helping your closest friends and family shower you with all the love and encouragement you deserve.

These ceremonies take place at The Soul Space studio in Carshalton.

Pricing
