What could be more amazing than growing a little human inside your body? This is a deeply precious, sacred time so we wholeheartedly invite you to take time and space to connect with your body and your baby during this transformative stage in your life.
You don't just arrive in motherhood, it's a journey to becoming, this journey is called "matrescence" and deserves to be celebrated.
Whether you're pregnant for the first time or have experienced pregnancy before, we would love to welcome you.
We will gather and enjoy nourishment, fun and connection. You will receive support and guidance from experienced birth workers and meet a community of incredible Mums-to-be.

THE DAY INCLUDES
- Gentle Yoga, functional movement and biomechanics of birth
- Breathing practices, hypnobirth and visualisations
- Guided relaxation, rest and SOUND BATH
- Postpartum and post retreat self-care tips and plans
- Post retreat community connection/WhatsApp group with those present as well as lots of useful resources for you and your partner to use at home
- Delicious, nourishing lunch with hot drinks and snacks throughout the day

YOUR HOSTS FOR THE DAY
Kate (right) and Jo (left) are incredibly passionate birth workers and mums, who between them have over 15 years experience supporting and guiding women through the sacred passage of matrescense.
Jo has been holding space for women for over 8 years at The Soul Space in Carshalton. Through her offerings of Pregnancy and Mum & Baby Yoga classes and Women's classes and Circles she has guided and supported hundreds of women on their journey to motherhood and created a community that fosters great friendships and connections that go way beyond their time in class.
Kate is a trauma informed yoga and mindfulness teacher and prenatal and postnatal FEDANT accredited Senior Birth Educator. Kate offers Pregnancy and Mum & Baby Yoga sessions as well as Pregnancy Preparation workshops and Circles within her wonderful Yogi Birds Yoga community in Birmingham.
